That was my first time visiting the Distillery District. I've been meaning to visit the place for a while now, so having the devmeet there was like killing two birds with one stone.
It was nice to finally see the faces behind some of the deviantart names. I'm glad I attended!

I have a question - I've been working on some portraits and I've come across one of Sho where I have to draw his teeth...but they always look so unnatural D: How do you get the teeth to look so natural? xD?

I treat the teeth like it's all one piece and draw the shape around it. As much as possible, avoid drawing the lines separating the teeth from each other (sides of the teeth) as much as possible. If you do need to draw it, do it very lightly (I use a 4H pencil) It's usually those lines that make the teeth look unnatural. When drawing the jagged edges of the teeth, pay special attention to the very dark areas below the edge of the upper teeth where you can see the shadow of the inside of the mouth.
I hope that makes sense! If not, send me a note
Ohhhh. That makes a lot more sense! The whole time I was drawing each separate tooth and no matter how many times I did it it looked unnatural. I never tried it as one piece : O ! I'll definitely keep an eye on those things! Thanks so much ^_^ ~!
